I loved working with the hand made paper for this one, it is so soft and delicate. The Cyanotype solution soaks well into the paper and gives a deep blue finish to the print. I picked this baby fern from my garden in the spring when they are newly emerging, and pressed it ready to use later in the year.

Original Botanical Art - Framed art. Sitting pretty in a contemporary silver-plated frame with detailing to the front. This shapely Fern Frond in shades of blue and white, shoots across a speckely blue sky like a shooting star.
Made on hand made cotton paper, which adds to the organic feel of the photogram, it is part of my 'From the Fernery Collection'. It would make a pretty gift for someone special.
The frame has a velvet effect back and stand giving it a luxury feel. It will stand beautifully on any picture shelf or dresser.

Created on Handmade Cotton Rag Paper.
Named ‘Shooting Star’ numbered and signed on the reverse, it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity as an Original Artwork 1/1
The silver-plated frame is approximately 11cm x 16cm and has a glass front.
The Aperture size is approximately 9cm x 14cm
The photogram will be posted out securely in a reusable lined Postal Box.
