I love making bags! This bag was inspired by the pattern "Ultimate Handbag" by the designer, MrsH. I attended one of MrsH's courses a couple of years ago and learnt so much about bag construction. There is so much to consider - not just the exterior fabric, but the lining, the fittings (strap rings, zips and so on) and the all - important interfacing. Interfacing gives a bag structure and form and a professional finish.

Vibrant green shoulder bag with a chrysanthemum patterned flap closure.
Handmade by me.
This beautiful bag is a one-off! I've chosen a jade green cotton fabric for the exterior and shoulder strap and have teamed it with a jade green and cream striped fabric for the interior. The flap features a chrysanthemum print. All fabrics are 100% cotton.
The flap closes with a magnetic snap. Inside the bag you'll find a full width divided slip pocket, another divided slip pocket plus a zipped pocket. The shoulder strap is adjustable for length.
Measures 12"(30.5cm) wide x 9.5" (24cm) high x 5" (12.5cm) deep.
