As an engineering teacher from Leeds with a deep passion for CNC machining and precision craftsmanship, I’ve always believed that great design should be both functional and sustainable.
This flashcard box was born out of necessity. Teaching students the importance of organization and effective revision, I noticed that many struggled to keep their study materials neat and accessible. Flashcards are a powerful tool for learning, but they often end up scattered, lost, or damaged. That’s when I decided to design a durable, eco friendly storage solution. One that not only protects study materials but also adds a touch of craftsmanship to the learning experience.
Using my expertise in CNC machining, I carefully designed this box to be precisely cut from sustainable plywood, ensuring a perfect balance of strength, aesthetics, and eco consciousness. The result is a sleek, compact, and highly practical study aid that fits seamlessly into any student’s routine.

- Not Suitable for Young Children Without Supervision – This product contains small parts, including a locking mechanism and writing utensils, which could pose a choking hazard for young children. Recommended for ages 6 and over with supervision. - Handmade Wooden Product – As this item is crafted from natural plywood, minor variations in grain and finish may occur. While edges are CNC-machined for precision and smoothness, we always recommend handling with care to avoid splinters. - Keep Away from Extreme Heat & Moisture – To maintain the durability of the wood and finish, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, heat sources, or high humidity. Store in a cool, dry place. - Eco-Friendly & Non-Toxic Finishes – The lock component is treated with linseed oil, a natural finish that is safe and chemical-free. However, if you have any specific allergies or sensitivities to natural oils, please handle with care.
