As a keen gardener and allotment holder I’ve bought a lot of different systems for labelling plants over the years, mainly all plastic that over time deteriorates, or the pen comes off making them useless! I wondered how a glass label would fare, and it turned out really well! frost resistant (I’ve tested them to -18 in the freezer!), and the writing should never fade as it is literally part of the glass due to it having been fired at 800 degrees in the kiln.

These sturdy plant label will never fade or rot! They are made of layers of cream coloured glass and are hand painted before being fused in the kiln at my small Yorkshire studio. They are frost resistant, look fabulous in herb planters or in the herb bed in the garden and can be used indoors or outdoors. The set includes labels for five common and essential kitchen garden herbs: Oregano, Mint, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme.
The labels measure 15x2cm. These are a handmade and hand written product and as such there may be slight variations from the photographed product.
