Full description

A bundle of ten collectors' coffee spoons hand stamped with fake memories and imaginary slogans... a small collection for the post-truth era perhaps? Yes, the Welsh on the St. Davids caddy spoon is entirely made up (apologies to the Welsh nation)... I didn't really escape from Inveraray jail nor have I ever been to Pohutukawa... the sun doesn't always shine in bonnie Scotland (who knew?) and I am certainly not big in Japan. You get the idea. (Although Llandudno is surely lovely. And the placename 'Eze' irresistibly made me think 'peze lemon squeze'.)

These made me smile and I hope they might do the same for you. Or you can wind up a spoon-collector you know by slipping one or two of these into their display rack when they're not looking.

The spoons are small (12cm or shorter), old, in varying states of preservation and of assorted metallic composition. Just in case you do want to use them in actual coffee, the lettering is coloured with non-toxic water-based acrylic ink.
