I love watching the sailboats as they skim over the water sailing from Poole around the coast. Old Harry Rocks seen from the sea is especially dear to me as it means a ferry trip - either a journey to my family in Jersey or a return trip from them coming home.
I always keep a close eye on the water looking out for Dolphins. I have been lucky a few times...

Full description
This is the second artist proof print of an edition of ninety-five etching prints made by hand by inking a zinc plate and then running it under pressure through my printing press. Due to the inking process each print is slightly different in colour and tone and also in this print I have used masks to form the shapes of the sails.
The image measures 11.5x14.5cm (approx 4x5&3/4inch approx) across and is on paper measuring 21x21cm (approx8.25x8.25inch). The print comes unmounted.
Whilst every care is taken in photographing the artwork please be aware that colours can vary according to your monitor settings.
The materials used in the painting are artist’s quality to ensure longevity but as with all original artwork it is best hung out of direct sunlight.
Copyright remains with the artist.
