My woodworking journey started in 2012, doing carpentry evening classes. I built my first workshop in my garden which I quickly outgrew and then went on to establish my small commercial joinery shop in 2014. I made a number of bespoke dining tables and benches and run a line of farmhouse style garden furniture before coming up with a design for what was at the time, a bit of a niche product, a handmade noticeboard combining a shelf, a mail holder, hooks for keys and a mason jar for either flowers or stationary.... There really was nothing like this available anywhere at the time!
Now 10 years later, with thousands of units adorning the homes of happy customers all across the country and beyond. Some have made their way to France, Italy and one of my boards made it all the way to South Africa! I made every single one of them.
