While studying photography in 2010, I ventured in to a jewellery workshop to take some portraits for a project. Witnessing the intricacy and artistry of the workbenches left quite the impression on me, one which I never forgot.

My love for wearing silver jewellery grew throughout my 20s and I would inspect my bangles and rings and wonder, but how do they make this!?

I drifted away from the creative industries and towards several years of work and play but when reality hit, alongside a lockdown, I thought it was time to pursue that excitement I felt from the desire to challenge myself... and get myself a workbench!

After studying jewellery in Glasgow for three years, I opened Diem Jewellery.
