I love creating, whether it's on paper or fabric and I'm inspired by many things, especially nature. I love small details and the meditative process of creating intricate details at a slow pace.

Seeing the magic in nature and expressing it through art

Hi, I'm Claudine. I live in Berkshire with my husband, two daughters, my mum and cat! It's a busy household!
Being creative is something I feel like I can't live without, not only is it how I earn a living (I am a freelance greetings card artist at the moment), but it is how I relax and refresh my mind and escape from the sometimes overwhelming heaviness of life.
Ever since I can remember I have been making something- be it on paper or with fabric, wool, thread, metal, tea bags(!), nails(!), tissues(!), perspex, tin foil.
I think I've probably experimented with most things in pursuit of new surface decoration, especially during my Textile Degree years!

I'm inspired by lots of things-trees, flowers, landscapes, a song, other artists, my children, my mum. On a good day there's too much inspiration and it's frustrating that I can't catch it all, sometimes you have to let it go. Something else always comes along.
