Hi, I’m Sharon — the creator behind Willowlight Glassworks.

Originally from Yorkshire and now settled in beautiful Shropshire, I discovered stained glass art during a difficult time in my life while going through therapy for my mental health. What started as a creative escape quickly became much more than a hobby — it became a true passion and a form of therapy in itself.

I’ve been creating stained glass art for just over a year, and I love watching each piece come to life through colour, texture, and light. There’s something incredibly calming and rewarding about the process — from carefully cutting the glass to seeing the finished artwork glow when the light shines through it. For me, stained glass is about healing, mindfulness, and creating beauty from individual pieces, much like rebuilding yourself through life’s challenges.

My work is inspired by atmosphere, quiet moments, rain, nature, and the emotions that light and colour can create. Every piece is handmade with care, patience, and heart, making each artwork completely unique.

Through Willowlight Glassworks by Sharon, I hope to create pieces that bring comfort, beauty, and a little light into people’s homes — while sharing the joy and healing that stained glass has brought into my own life.
