Hello! My name's Frances and I'm a 24 year old music tutor, volunteer, musician and avid crafter and artist. 'Things by Frances' came about 2024, soon after I had began to teach myself to crochet as form of meditation during health challenges, and I shared my crochet clothing and accessories. In more recent months however, I have brought back my love for painting, which admittedly, I hadn't revisited since I was little.

As well as growing up as a musician, I was an arty kid and loved drawing. I stopped for a while in my teens, but I have been developing a new love for it in my early 20s, discovering new mediums and feeling confident in my own style. My current style I'm leaning into is watercolour/urban sketching. I live in Liverpool which I have much love for, and so I am enjoying painting as much of the city as I can!

I also love creating art based on childhood series that inspired me, hoping to mix elements of humour and nostalgia as well as some animations wonderful colour palletes.
