I live by the coast in Cornwall and my work is inspired by the shapes and colours of the beachcombed finds I collect. The ocean turns this flotsam and jetsam into beautiful gems that I give new life to in my artworks. Ancient pieces of glass mixed together with the remains of a wine bottle tossed overboard from a passing yacht - pieces of broken pottery shaped into yacht sails...I wonder how far they have travelled and what they were in their previous lives...
