Crocheting through chaos

Hi, I’m Hannah a young mum living in North Yorkshire with my two little boys and my partner. I first learnt to crochet at a primary school club and, just like riding a bike, it turned out to be a skill I never forgot.

When I found out I was pregnant with my eldest son, I had this overwhelming urge to make him a very special baby blanket, something handmade and filled with as much love as I could possibly stitch into it. Unfortunately, he decided to make an early appearance before I’d quite finished it, but from that moment on I haven’t been able to put my crochet hook back down.

As a military spouse, crochet has become more than just a hobby for me. It’s something that helps keep me busy and brings a little calm during the times my partner is away. Most evenings, once my boys are tucked up in bed, you’ll find me sat with a cup of tea, crocheting the stress away and creating pieces that are made with genuine care and love.

After lots of encouragement from family/rapidly running out of storage space for all my creations,I’ve finally decided to take the plunge and share them with others. I truly hope the things I make bring as much comfort, joy, and love to your homes as they have to mine.
