Hi, I’m Jenny — the person behind Roots & Wings.
I started Roots & Wings during a time when life slowed me down more than I expected. What began as a way to keep my hands busy and my mind calm has grown into something much bigger — a space for creativity, connection, and finding small moments of peace.
I’m a long-time maker and the founder of Hooking 2 Help, a weekly community group where people come together to craft, chat, and just be. I’ve been teaching on and off for over 15 years, both here in the UK and in other countries, always through community groups and shared creative spaces.
That sense of connection and support sits at the heart of everything I do.
My work is inspired by the coast, changing seasons, and the quiet details of everyday life. Everything I create is made slowly, with intention, and with real hands behind it.
Roots & Wings is about building strong foundations so we can grow, create, and fly — in our own time, in our own way.
