Hello, I’m Russell , a hobby woodturner from Lancashire with a passion for creating unique handcrafted pieces from beautiful natural timber.
I work mainly with locally and sustainably sourced wood from fallen, storm-damaged or reclaimed trees, alongside carefully selected hardwood blanks from local suppliers. I love bringing out the natural character, grain and imperfections that make every piece of wood special.
Each item is individually handcrafted on the lathe in my small workshop and no two pieces are ever the same. From bowls and vases to coasters, seasonal decorations and gift items, every piece is made with care, patience and attention to detail.
Many of my pieces feature natural grain patterns, knots, spalting or character cracks which are often incorporated into the final design to celebrate the wood’s natural beauty.
