I've always loved making things and worked as a Graphic Designer for over twenty years. Nowadays I experiment with fabric, paints, embroidery, beads and collage. I particularly enjoy combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, unique mixed media pieces.

Quirky, affordable mixed media artworks.

Welcome to my shop where you'll find an assortment of quirky handmade items and cards. I particularly enjoy making mixed media pieces. I think of them as visual 'smorgasbords' – not edible, but hopefully a feast for the eyes.

As a child I always enjoyed art and making things and was able to pursue this passion for creativity working as a Graphic Designer in a London studio. My commuting days are behind me now, but I still love the creative process - coming up with ideas and working with colour.

I made my first mixed media artwork many years ago when I bought an old printer's tray and used it to house all the bits and bobs I'd hoarded over the years. All those little treasures finally had a home and became even more interesting displayed as a collection.

I've recently started making textile artworks, mainly hand stitched. I bought a sewing machine, but am still at the stage where I need to read the manual in order to thread the machine - so free-motion embroidery may be a little way off yet!
