Hello there! My name’s Vanessa and welcome to Purple Ness Creations!

I am a self taught jewellery maker and designer based in Bristol, UK. I live with my two children and juggle making jewellery around family life and my day job.

I have always had a huge love for all things craft but especially jewellery making from a very young age. A neighbour brought me a jewellery set for my birthday one year and that was it! I was hooked!

I set up Purple Ness Creations in 2017 whilst on Maternity leave with my second child. After years of making and experimenting and lots of support from my husband and close friends/family I took the jump into the world of selling my creations.

I love creating hammered and customised jewellery pieces that are lightweight and wearable every day. Nothing makes you feel better on an off day than putting on a special piece of jewellery or a new pair of statement earrings! I also enjoy experimenting with different gemstones and their meanings and faux leather earring designs.

A lot of my designs can be personalised in some way whether it’s choosing custom wording or the names of a loved one, to adding birthstone charms to create a special piece you will cherish forever.

All of my creations are handmade to order so even if you are ordering something from my online store each piece is unique in its own little way.
