Unique Handmade Animal Sulptures And Ceramic Jewellery

Hello I’m Mimi, welcome to my shop!

I’m a sculptor and ceramicist working out of my little cabin on the edge of Bristol UK.

All my ceramic Jewellery is made from clay that I foraged myself from different spots around the city. I’ve been playing with foraged clay for a few years now and love all the beautiful textures and colours that come from the ground below our feet.

Once I have dug the clay I process it to remove any impurities and then can begin to craft with it.

Everything is first Bisque fired to around 950 degrees then glazed and fired a second time to either earthenware or stoneware to make it strong and durable.

As a conservationist I have always found great beauty in nature and love nothing more than lazy days with my hands in clay sculpting some of this beauty. I always try to capture something special in every sculpture to make each and every piece come to life and bring some of that beauty to people’s homes.
