As a Fabric addict I feed my addiction by sewing, designer fabric. to vintage fabrics, scraps of fabric amd upcycled fabric I love them all. One of my trusty sewing machines (I have 5) and my imagination whir into action I love it!!

I have recently retired so I have time now to sew. I began when I was about 12years old sewing clothes remember the 60's tent dresses? 2 pieces and bound necklines? British Sewing Bee eat your heart out, start to finish 2hours and the Disco beckoned!
I love the challenge of creating something with a individual piece of fabric, better than a crossword and more fun. My untidy sewing room is in the cellar packed with 27 boxes of fabric from silks to hessian all that unitess them all is Shelagh liked it and so she bought it and now the task is to transform it into something special. Cushion are my first love but I have expanded into glasses cases, fun aprons, useful aprons, tote bags extraordinaire, knitting needle cases, upcycled denim, upcycled antique and vintage fabrics reimagined etc etc anything that just takes my fancy and hopefully someone else likes too!
