Please note that from Tuesday, 7th April, Royal Mail will be increasing their postal charges. Orders valued up to £20 will continue to be dispatched via Royal Mail 2nd Class. For orders with a value between £20 and £75, Royal Mail Tracked 48 will be used for delivery.
UPGRADING TO 1ST CLASS DELIVERY
If you would prefer your order to be sent via 1st Class delivery, simply send a message before completing your purchase. The delivery cost will then be adjusted accordingly to reflect the upgraded service.
MULTIPLE ITEM PURCHASES
Should you wish to purchase more than one item from the shop, please contact me before making your purchase. This allows me to recalculate the postage and packing costs for your combined order.

SENDING GIFTS DIRECT
If you would like to send a gift directly to a friend or loved one, please let me know. Simply send a message with their name, address, and any personal message you wish to include. I will then post the gift straight to them, along with a note so they know it is from you.

ABOUT ME!
I create all my pieces in my home studio, located in the picturesque market town of Frome, Somerset. My work is crafted from a variety of clays, using slab work, coiling and sculpting techniques, without using a potter’s wheel. As each piece is handmade from natural materials, every item is truly unique.

FAMILY & INSPIRATION
I’m grateful for my supportive family. My husband John motivates me to grow and embrace new experiences, while our children, Gaby and Gareth, continually inspire me with their achievements. Gareth’s wife Kasia adds warmth and positivity, and our grandchildren, Mia and Jimmy, bring us great happiness.

MY JOURNEY IN POTTERY
My passion for pottery began at school, where I chose Art as one of my GCSE subjects. In my twenties, I attended an evening pottery class and thoroughly enjoyed creating one-of-a-kind pieces for family and friends. After having my two children, I transitioned into the corporate world, working first with cosmetics and then with naturally based vegan products. My longstanding interest in health and wellbeing led me to train as a practitioner in a distant energy healing discipline, and I now run a practice from my home in Frome.

REDISCOVERING CERAMICS
About six years ago, I came across a Facebook post advertising a local pottery class and decided to give it another try. I quickly realised how much I enjoyed working with clay and expressing my creativity, finding the process both fulfilling and meditative. My tutor provided valuable guidance, helping me develop my pottery skills further. With my tutor’s encouragement, I launched an online shop and invested in my own kiln, bringing my ceramic creations to a wider audience.

DELIVERY:
I need a bit of time to get your pottery packaged up. I aim to post all items within 1 - 3 working days of you placing your order but at busy times of year this maybe slightly longer - I appreciate your patience. You will receive an email confirmation once shipped.

UK SHIPPING:
Due to the significant price rise e.g. 22% for Royal Mail 1st Class postal charges all future orders will be sent out via Royal Mail Tracked 48 - I have adjusted all the postage costs in my Folksy online shop. Please feel free to contact me if your order is urgent and you wish to upgrade to Royal Mail Tracked 24 and I will let you know the extra postal cost.
