I love to capture our stunning Countryside and nature in my paintings

Hi, I am new here to Folksy and very excited about creating and building my new shop. This will take me a little while so please drop by again regularly to see my new listings.
I love everything about our stunning countryside and coastline and enjoy capturing them in my paintings. I initially started painting over 30 years ago as a way to make extra money to help me bring up my children. I had a full time job as a legal secretary but as a single parent I needed more and decided to try and paint a picture one evening. I framed it and plucked up the courage to take it in to my local art shop and asked if he could try and sell it for me. He agreed and put it on an easel in the shop window. Every time I walked passed it I couldn't believe it was my painting! Within a short while, it sold! The rest is history, I sold more and more and my love of painting grew. I'm still learning and continue to practice! Now I paint for the love of it and of course it helps to pay the bills too! I was born and spent my childhood in North Norfolk and moved to Dorset 49 years ago. I feel very privileged to have lived in two picturesque counties. My paintings have found homes in UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Asia & Europe. I am now a full-time artist and enjoy painting large canvasses, cards, ACEO paintings, stones, slates, seashells & wooden plaques. Every item in this shop is individually hand-painted by me.
