Inspired to bring colour and drama into my acrylic art. Inspired by details. Colour explosions and my own style.

It's a passion! Ever since i was a child I have loved drawing. I was the one looking out the class room window with a head full of dolly mixtures!!!
My older siblings were all very academic and far brighter than me, or at least it seemed that way. My mind focused well in art and history becasuse I loved to draw tudor costumes and victorian dresses.
Then my family came so, for the most part, I hung up the paints and did very little in the way of art. Until I went to Nicaragua for a couple of years and found art as a good reason to keep myself occupied and out of the intense heat. Like "living in a kettle" would aptly describe the conditions.
Since then I have been obsessed with my art and due to other commitments I do what I can when I can.
I have had no formal training but like other artist I absorb visual things and I can see things that are out of balance or things that are lop sided. These visual skills come in very handy for finding my way fro A to B. One look at a Google map and I can remember directions and bends in the road. However, when it comes to naming streets - well you've got me there!
So many have encouraged me to sell my art. So here I am - giving it a try. I hope you like what I love.
