Beautifully handmade items using vintage fabrics

I’ve been a seamstress all my life, and for many years I designed and made soft furnishings for clients. A few years ago, though, I felt the urge to slow down and become more creative. That journey led me to working with vintage fabrics—materials with a history and a story to tell.

I especially love repurposing vintage embroidered tablecloths. So much skill and care has gone into these pieces, yet they’re often discarded because of little imperfections like tea stains. Giving them a new life feels both respectful and joyful, and no two pieces are ever the same.

During lockdown, I also discovered a love for embroidery. Now I use even the smallest scraps of vintage linen to create embroidered greeting cards and gift tags. I truly hate to waste fabric—every tiny piece deserves to be treasured.

Everything you see in my shop is handmade by me in my studio on the edge of the beautiful North Downs, where the surrounding countryside is a constant source of inspiration.
