I didn’t arrive on this path in a conventional way.
About fifteen years ago, I had a vivid dream of a small Neolithic girl holding a bowl of flower heads. Soon after, at the Goddess House in Glastonbury, I journeyed to Ceridwen’s cauldron. I was told the girl was me, and that I would one day work with plants.
It was the first time I felt truly called.
A few years later, I co-founded and ran an award-winning community interest company supporting women and families through creative education. I loved the work deeply, but I was burning out. My body began speaking through chronic migraines that left me in bed several days each week.
In 2018, I chose to live differently. I moved to Bronllys with a quiet dream — to create something in partnership with the land.
While studying for my MA in Ecology and Spirituality in early 2023, I travelled to Tamil Nadu on a healing pilgrimage. Those ten days in January changed everything. I was hospitalised in India and flown home for emergency spinal surgery after developing Cauda Equina Syndrome. I could have been paralysed. Instead, I was given another beginning.
My healing came slowly — through tending the garden, growing herbs, chanting daily in gratitude, walking with trees and fungi, and returning to rhythm through the drum.
Floral Ark was born from that return.
I am an animist at heart. I stand for the trees, plants and animals. I believe we are interconnected, and that ancient, land-based ways of knowing must be remembered here, on our own soil. I care deeply about sisterhood, family and community. I do not believe spirituality should be rushed, packaged or exploited. Integrity, to me, means living gently and teaching honestly.
My training weaves together accredited herbalism, Wild Welsh Herbalism, Reiki lineage, drum-making apprenticeship and academic research — but more than qualifications, I bring lived experience. I know burnout. I know trauma. I know chronic pain. I also know the steady healing of soil, ceremony and devotion.
Women often tell me they feel deeply held here. That something softens. That something ancient inside them remembers.
This is not work of grand promises.
It is the work of quiet return.
And in the spirit of Ceridwen — keeper of the cauldron of transformation — may what is ready to change, change gently. May what is ready to grow, grow in its own time.
If you feel the call to return to your natural rhythm, I would be honoured to walk beside you.
