Handmade baby blankets knitted in 100%cotton yarn

I'm Sue and I've been knitting for as long as I can remember.
Over the years baby knits have become my staple. I started knitting small items for my own children, then friends children, and I'm now knitting for my grandchildren too.
I particularly love to knit baby blankets, although I do make other baby items too.
My favourite yarn to use is cotton, and my chevron blankets in 100% cotton have become my signature knits. No two of my blankets are identical, although obviously it could be done if required.
I love experimenting with the stripe pattern and colours to give different effects. The yarn I use has an amazing colour palette so really the possibilities are endless.
I find that cotton yarn works really well for baby blankets, it has a slight weight to it and it doesn't pill. Also it gets softer and softer the more it is washed and used.
My blankets are perfect for pram, crib, or car seat, or just for snuggling.
A pretty soft blanket makes a perfect baby shower or newborn gift.
