Welcome to our cosy corner of the internet where time moves slowly, stitching is a joy, and naps are taken often.

In this quiet space we showcase all the bits and bobs that we create- everything here is truly handmade in the old fashioned sense, and everything is given the slow time and attention that we ourselves value in the things we own.

The inspiration for Balzoar and Bear Embroidery came from a stuffed crocodile (who thinks he’s a dragon), and an old reliable Ted that keeps threads free of tangles and supervises the use of scissors. They are the embodiment of nostalgia, imagination, and play, and the perfect muse for creativity.

This is a very small shop, and it is very new. I’ll upload things only once I'm happy that they’re ready and worth the wait. In the meantime pour a fresh cup of tea, get comfy, and do have a little look around.
