I started out completely by accident, working from our spare room/study after making a few face masks in pretty fabrics as gifts for family and friends during the Covid19 outbreak. Many people commented on the high quality of the masks and suggested I really should be selling them to discerning buyers. The rest is history as they say, as I ended up making over 2,500 during that period. Who said retirement was boring?!

When Covid19 subsided I wasn't really looking for anything else to do, but I made a small bag for my mum's walking frame when she moved into a care home, and she found it of great use for her 'bits & pieces'. When she sadly passed away aged almost 101 three years ago, I was clearing out her room and saw the bag and thought maybe I should make a few for other people in a similar situation. This has now gone from strength to strength, with around 2,000 satisfied customers to date. I have recently offered to embroider names onto one fabric design, which is proving very popular.

I offer a range of attractive fabrics (which my non-sewing wife chooses), mostly in limited quantities, and our items are made with great care and attention to detail and quality. Items listed are generally already made and in stock, ready for immediate shipment, but bespoke items are made to order, so a bit more time is required, but we feel they are well worth the wait.
