Hello,
I'm Emma the owner, designer and maker at The Cornish Coaster Company. I live in the beautiful Cornish countryside with my husband and children.
I discovered a love of fabric and sewing shortly after the birth of my fourth bundle of joy! I decided to not to go back to work as I wanted to enjoy being a mum, as I had missed out on so much with my older children due to working full time.
So one day I decided to start sewing and as they say, the rest is history!
I now have a serious fabric addiction and I even suffer withdrawal symptoms if I am away from my sewing machine for too long!
Free motion sewing is my favourite technique as it allows me so much freedom with my designs.
I cut all my fabrics by hand so no 2 items are exactly the same, which means I can guarantee a unique gift.
