I have always been fascinated by the properties of glass and loved, as a child, watching glass blowers make beautiful items from molten glass. My fascination only grew when I watched an artisan lampworker in Rome create a pendant from melting glass rods in the flame and then shaping them into a stunning flower.
In February 2022, I began learning the artisan craft of lampwork and have been hooked ever since on creating bespoke lampwork glass beads. All my lampwork beads are handmade by me in my summerhouse at home.
One day I hope to teach my young daughter this wonderful craft as she is always fascinated to see what beads come out of the klin.
