I use a variety of papers to create illuminated sculptures and pendant lights.

I love spending time in nature and am drawn to the curious forms and textures that Mother Nature provides, which are often overlooked.

I'm especially delighted by seeds and their pods and invite you to look more closely next time you're in a garden! The variety is mind-boggling.

Living on the south coast of England where a beach walk isn't far away, I'm also inspired by nature's delights cast onto the beach (not the plastic rubbish :/ )

I started working with paper during the Covid-19 lockdown. Part-way through a Designer Maker degree, I needed to use materials that were freely available to me. There began my obsession!

It's thrilling to me that a humble sheet of paper can be transformed..... with just hands for tools. I tend to work with papers that are accessible to everyone, such as crepe, tissue and parchment. I sometimes use water-based inks.

A small LED light is supplied with some sculptures and should be plugged into a USB socket. The addition of light really brings the sculpture to life.

Although I sell my work in shops and galleries in East Sussex, I'm new to Folksy.
