ABOUT ME
Hi I’m Sue, based in beautiful Shropshire. I create handmade, one of a kind jewellery and personalised cards, designed to mark meaningful moments and give with intention. Each piece is made slowly and thoughtfully, with care given not only to how it looks, but to what it represents.
I’ve always been drawn to colour, pattern, and adornment. From an early age I found joy in surface design and the way objects can hold memory, meaning, and feeling. Over time this led me to jewellery making, and eventually to chainmaille, a craft I fell completely in love with. It can be wonderfully challenging (and occasionally stubborn!), but there is something deeply satisfying about bringing hundreds of tiny links together into a finished piece that feels strong, elegant, and enduring.
Silver is my first love, particularly beautiful components such as Karen Hill Tribe Silver, and I often work with carefully chosen crystals and beads when colour feels called for. I also enjoy the versatility of aluminium for chainmaille , especially for its lightness, range of colours, and the fact that it is naturally nickel free, making it kinder for sensitive skin.
Alongside my jewellery, I create personalised cards and artwork, combining my love of colour and form with digital design. This allows me to play freely with palettes and create pieces that complement the jewellery they accompany, making them ideal as thoughtful gifts for birthdays, milestones, or life changes.
Much of my work is inspired by the idea that jewellery can be more than decoration , it can be a marker of intention, a reminder, or a symbol of connection.
