Sending a card for whatever occation helps form new and cement old memories. The more I make and send the more important I find them. All my cards are made with love, often dimentional and full of tactile embellishments. Send someone you love and appreciate a unique, handmade card that no one else would have had.

I live in Manchester with my husband of many, many years (big hair and shoulder pads were in fashion). Both our children have flown the nest to persue clever stuff, both have successfully been through uni or are still at it. I am totally proud of both. I have been crafting for most of my life that I can remember, from a wobbly Dr who scarf to everything I do now. My job is as a science technician in a school, yes I know, blank looks all round. I basically make practical science happen in schools, and do so much washing up. That is not my passion however. I have always liked making things. I have knitted, embroidered, baked, sewn, taught myself to crochet, upcycled, scrapbooked, made cards, made clothes... the list goes on. Using my hands to make stuff has always kept me sane, the problem with that is you have a lot of things you cant possibly use. That's how my little shop came about. Finding places to sell my cards isn't always easy so Folksy seemed like a great place to start. The name for my shop comes from our dog, sadly no longer with us. My craft room was always somewhere he wanted to be if I was there. It was irresistible to his simple Spaniel brain, not my company I might add, no it was the interesting contents of my bin, or drawers or whatever was out. He was known as chewy Louis to those who knew him well, he would pinch things and sneak off for a bout of destruction. Mind your noggin comes from his wanderings under my table where he would invariably bump his head. No harm done, not much to damage!
I hope you like my cards and other bits, I try to make things I like and hope others like them too. Have a good browse, I'm always open to commissions as my craft stash needs taming.
