Melanie is an artist from the UK. She was born and raised in South Manchester where she continues to live with her husband, 2 children and her beloved Springer Spaniel.
She studied Textile Design at University before working as an Art Educator for 18 years in Secondary schools, sharing her passion for Art with the younger generation.
Melanie is crazy for colour. She loves the impact colour has on people, including herself, and how it can affect our mood, feelings and behaviour. Through her folksy shop she hopes to share the joy of colour with other people in their daily lives through her range of giclee fine art prints, cushions, chopping boards, and bags all featuring her colourful and vibrant original designs.

I purchased this as a last minute christmas present. The one I wanted wasn't available before christmas, so I bought one that was in stock. The parcel arrived quickly, it was well packaged, seller communication was excellent and it's beautiful. It's for an artist friend who has been looking for an arty chopping board for ages, so I know she is going to love it. The craftsmanship is first class and it was a great price.
