Inspired by my love of books, vintage clothing and Regency dancing, my creations are often one off pieces, sewn, crocheted or crafted with paper or clay and filled with imagination (and sometimes lavender!)

Welcome to Jinkies Vintage Revival.

I love reading, and cherish the time I can carve out to sit in a cosy corner and sink into another world filled with adventure, mystery, paranormal events or history. However, this time isn't as frequent as I'd like, as more than reading, I love to sew, crochet, make cards, cross-stitch, embroider and write my own stories and poetry!
I am influenced in my creative endeavours by many things - mostly books, mid-century homewares, retro design, music and the picturesque side of Regency and Victorian romance and dance.
I decided to sell my makes as this enabled me to expand my creativity with purpose and give others the chance to evoke some precious memory, cherish something unique, or gift something that will become beloved in its own right.

I am increasingly aware of what goes into the products and materials I buy, and so I try to live and work in as sustainable manner as I can. All glues and stamp-inks are non-toxic - because that just makes sense! And, if I'm not using materials from my pre-enlightenment days for my creations, I'll use new, oeko-tex, organic, or reclaimed fabrics etc - these will be stated in the description. Luckily, this fits into my own ideas of wanting to design and create things that will be used and loved for a long time -items that are multi-functional, or have the potential to be handed down as a family heirloom.
Whenever possible I use upcycled packaging for posting.
My workspace is kept as clean and tidy as possible, though it can get rather messy when I have multiple projects on the go!
My space and home is smoke/vape and pet free.
