Semi-precious stone beaded jewellery embellished with shiny things!

HI, I am Nikki, and I design and craft jewellery from the spare bedroom of my home in Devon.
I started making beaded jewellery over 18 years ago, but until recently it was just a hobby that I loved to do when I could find the time.
Then came the pandemic. As a key worker, I worked through the lockdowns, but like many people I started to re-assess my life, my priorities and my happiness in my work.
I decided to leave my job and concentrate on jewellery making - the craft that brought me so much pleasure.
I work mostly with semi-precious stones - I love their variety of colours and patterns - but I also use glass, crystal and metals to add sparkle and shine to my pieces.
My inspiration comes from the beautiful Devonshire countryside and the infinite variety of colours that make up natures palette, from the ever-changing sparkling blue-greens of the sea, the pink and purple heather on the moors, the greens, browns and oranges of the woodlands in spring and autumn and the vibrant flash of a kingfisher along the rivers.
