Exquisite handmade 12th Scale Doll's house miniature food

My name is Sarah Maloney and I live in North London UK. I sculpt 12th scale miniature dollhouse accessories and Dolls house miniature foods.

I have been selling my items on my Etsy site Dollhousekitchen since 2008. Briefly I had my own site www.dollhousekitchen.com. Unfortunately, that just became too expensive to operate,

While Etsy has evolved it is no longer as appealing to the smaller business'. My items are often lost in among the thousands of mass produced items that Etsy now allow to be sold from there site.

As photographs cannot always provide the perfection of a piece ie it's exact size and texture please, look at my Etsy Shop Dollhousekitchen where, you will find hundreds of positive reviews for my little creations.

I have always been what my mother likes to refer to as “crafty”; over the years I have dabbled in a list of crafts.
During the Summer of 2005 I had six weeks to explore a new project. So arming myself with copies of “Making Miniature Food” by A Scarr and “Food Displays” by S Heaser . I began my long and troubled journey (noxious gases from melting plastic while trying to bake clay and so many mistakes) of learning to sculpt

Nature the seasons and the holidays are my biggest inspiration but cakes are by far my favourite treat/ Because man cannot live by cake alone. What i cannot eat I make.

I have been making 12th scale dollhouse miniature foods for about 10 years. My work has been featured in the on line Dollhouse Magazine A.I.M. I have also had my work featured in "Dolls House and Miniature Scene" and "DollsHouse World"

Originally I started making dollhouse miniature food using Fimo Classic but , over the years have changed to using Japanese airdry clay.
