First of all- thanks for taking the time to visit!

I am Alina Naidu and for anyone who is interested - I learned my skills at Cordwainers, London (part of University of the Arts London/ London College of Fashion). This is where I completed my BA in Product Design and honed my leather-working skills.

I now try to fit in as much creating as I can around my kids who manage to find me wherever I hide..

I love working with leather in particular but as a creative am open to all mediums and love to experiment. Craftsmanship, attention to detail and function are integral to my work ethic and I love what I do!

I source my leathers online or from suppliers in and around London (they mostly get their leathers from around the globe). I usually create between one to three pieces of any of my designs and I don't do production work. So you're not likely to see another one walking towards you on a street/ in a cafe- I think..

All my designs are created from scratch in my humble garage at the bottom of the garden (the studio). Ok so I still call it the garage but I'm trying to drop the studio name enough times that my friends and family start referring to it as mentioned, mainly to give me a false sense of grandeur and glamour which the spiders just can't do...

Inspiration can strike anywhere, any time! (like covid but but with a positive aspect). Keep checking for fresh pieces as long as I don't have any more home schooling to do I might be able to bring you some new bits!
