Item details
I love using foraged ingredients to make delicious edibles and wild roses are an incredibly versatile plant. You can make rose petal jam or jelly from the petals and in the autumn, the hips make a Vitamin C-rich syrup that is very tasty on porridge, over ice cream, or taken in hot water to help stave off the winter chills. I wanted to take some of the joy that I find in harvesting and cooking with wild, foraged foods and create a tea towel that was both beautiful to look at and also educational.
