Hello! I'm Munaza, a Glasgow based hand lettering and calligraphy enthusiast. I am passionate about creativity and enjoy writing beautiful words in modern calligraphy. Whether it be one-of-a-kind place name, handwritten wedding vows or a simple thank you note - all can add that personal touch.
When not in full time mum mode to my three wonderful treasures; Abdullah, Ibrahim & Khadijah, I really love to unwind by reaching for my pens. While I love putting pen to paper I also enjoy the flexibility that comes with digital lettering on my iPad.
What started as a way to make homemade teacher gifts, quickly turned into a bit of an obsession with all things lettering. Self confessed stationery addict over here!
At school I was drawn to the sciences which resulted in me training as a secondary Physics teacher. However, over the years I've found myself enjoying creative past times. Having this creative outlet has been a therapeutic way for me to decompress from the busy-ness of family life.
I love to create special hand lettered designs on traditional media and digitally using an iPad. From carefully composing the words to choosing the colour palette to the look of delight on the recipient's face - a joyful process! I have been commissioned by friends and family to create beautiful and unique gifts from framed quotes to hand lettered mugs and I'm looking forward to sharing my creations with you all.
